This newly renovated and updated playground is a great option for younger kids.

The "older " structure has a few options to hang from and twirl, a double slide and a tobogan plus a cool “suspension” bridge but if you have little ones you will have to go up with them, it may be scary for some toddlers.

The new additions include 6 percusion instruments just at the right height for younger kids to enjoy plus a brand new structure with a rocking boat (wheel chair accessible!), a climbing wall, another slide and a couple of interactive sections including a tic-tac-toe.

The renovation also includes changing the floor to a padded rubber surface, much more fall-friendly!  You can still see the old chips surface on some of the photos above, the new floor now covers the entire playground and it is a fantastic improvement.

There is a gravel soccer field next to the playground that can be used outside school hours.

There is limited street parking and a bus stop nearby.

If you have little ones, don't forget to also visit Mosquito Creek Playground  Where they will entertained and you may be able to sit and relax for about a half a minute while they dig in the sand pit.
