Young Chefs: Kids Cooking the Books

Calling all Junior Chefs! If you are between 8 to 10 years old, grab a cookbook, an apron and join other aspiring chefs on Zoom.

Choose a cookie recipe from a library cookbook in the kid’s collection or from your home library cookbook collection— and try it out at home! Then, join us on Zoom to discuss our cookie baking experiences! What worked? What didn't? Was it delicious? All seasoned and beginner chefs are welcome. Dough-nut wait, sign up and a Zoom link will be emailed to you a couple of days before we meet.

Make sure you save a few cookies to show off or email a photo to allanj@nvdpl.ca and we will share our baked morsels for everyone to see during our Zoom get together.

We’re hosting this virtual program on Zoom. What you’ll need to attend: A computer with microphone (or headphones) and webcam, or your smartphone/tablet.
